INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NEW ACHIEVEMENTS IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND ARTS

Within the framework of the project “Enhancing Research Culture in Higher Education in Kosovo (ResearchCult)”, supported by Erasmus +, with funds from European Union, the University “Haxhi Zeka” of Peja, is organizing a two-day International scientific conference on: “International Conference on New Achievements in Science, Technology and Arts” – ICNA-STA. The conference is co-organized with a number of local and international universities and higher education institutions, as represented below in the relevant organization and scientific structures of the conference.
The conference aims to bring together the representatives of the higher education institutions (HEIs), research institutions, public institutions, businesses and other stakeholders locally and internationally, to exchange experiences, share best practices in various scientific areas. In addition, the conference also offers opportunities for researchers, academicians and industry experts to meet and interact with local and international participants on how to best:
- utilize and enhancing academic learning by integrating research and innovation;
- enhance cooperation between the academia and public and private institutions through usage of research and innovation outcomes;
More specifically the main objectives of the Conference will be:
- to provide a forum for discussion about the latest scientific contribution in various areas of science;
- to focus on the impact of the research and innovation in the scientific fields covered;
- to discuss and compare the experiences in all scientific areas covered in this conference;
In particular, the post Covid- 19 pandemic conditions –challenges and opportunities – affecting human rights will be discussed and analyzed from the perspective of transformation and change.
Format of the event:
The two day event will consist of:
– plenary sessions
– thematic sessions
– poster presentations
– workshops
The conference is anticipated to be held through the physical presence in the premises of the University “Haxhi Zeka” in Peja. However, the organization of the on-person conference is pending upon the conditions and recommendations of the relevant institutions related to the Covid -19 and governmental measures around March-April 2022. All participating candidates will be informed on time in case any measures will take place around the time of conference. Throughout the conference, sufficient time will be reserved for comments and questions from participants to allow them to contribute to discussions.
The language of the conference will be English.

Abstracts will be submitted until 13 March 2022 (extended). Abstracts will be peer reviewed against formatting criteria. Notification of acceptance of abstract: within 10 days of the submission date.

Book of Abstracts
The accepted abstract will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts after the participant is registered for conference. The conference abstract book, will be distributed to the participants at the conference desk, along with other conference materials.

FULL PAPER PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
If your abstract is accepted and you have paid the registration fee, you are encouraged to submit a full paper before October 10th, 2021 for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings. Final papers must be submitted as an MS Word document in .doc or .docx format. Please
ensure that your paper is ready to go to press by the submission deadline, having thoroughly read and correct the paper before sending it.
To send your paper save it with “Full Paper _ name and surname” of the first/corresponding author.
Formatting your paper
Download the Final Paper Design Template and carefully follow the formatting guidelines. Papers that do not follow the formatting guidelines will be returned for editing and may miss the proceedings publication.
The paper has to be submitted in English language.
Full-Length Manuscript
Full Paper is limited to 15 pages normally, including all figures, tables, and references. No more pages will be allowed.
CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS
Registered participants with an accepted abstract and/ or full paper will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The Conference Proceedings will be blind peer-reviewed by minimum two competent reviewers. The post-conference proceedings will submit to be indexed in the world’s leading source of information for businesses and professionals. The conference abstract book, proceedings; CD and certificate will be distributed to the participants at the conference desk.
ORAL PRESENTATION DETAILS
Oral presentations will be 10 minutes plus 5 minutes of questions. All presentations should be prepared using PowerPoint and sent to the Conference Secretariat prior to the conference are kindly requested.
POSTER PRESENTATION DETAILS
To keep good legibility of the poster, a maximum size of 70 cm wide and 100 cm high is recommended. The text and illustrations should be large enough to read from a distance of one meter. The poster boards will be numbered by the organizers. The number of your poster can be found in the Conference Program. Upon acceptance, the posters are expected to be printed by author(s) themselves based on criteria published.

The ICNA-STA Conference is supported by several journals listed below, where the presenting researchers may approach them accordingly for application to publish their research papers.
Applicant researchers have to follow the journal’s editorial rules and criteria for application to publish their work.

CEEPUS is the short form for Central European Exchange Program for University Studies and is a multilateral University exchange program in the extended Danube region based on an international Agreement.

Eligible are students and faculty members of a CEEPUS University that are also citizens of a CEEPUS member state. If you have a different citizenship but are enrolled at a CEEPUS university, you might also be eligible. In that case, please ask your National CEEPUS Office for restrictions and further information.

Information for incomings:
Teachers should stay at least of five days in Kosovo!
The accommodation is provided in the Dormitory (the area for teachers) in Prishtina.
Due to administrative procedures, payment may take time and will be made upon return via bank transfer. The financial form will be provided by NCO Kosovo.
